7steps how to use DTF printer

DTF (Direct to Film) printers are becoming increasingly popular in the garment industry as a way to create high-quality prints on a variety of fabrics.  Here are some steps to follow when using a DTF printer in the garment industry: Choose the right printer and film: The first step is to select the right DTF printer and film for your specific needs. There are many different printers and films on the market, so you’ll want to do your research and choose the one that best fits your production requirements. Prepare your artwork: Before printing, you need to prepare your artwork in a software program such as Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator. Make sure to size your artwork correctly, set the color mode to CMYK, and save it in a compatible file format. Print your design: Once your artwork is ready, it’s time to print it onto the DTF film using the DTF printer. Make sure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions for loading the film and setting up the printer. You may need to adjust the printer settings to optimize the quality of your print. Apply adhesive powder: Once your design is printed onto the film, it’s time to apply a layer of adhesive powder over the design. This powder will help the design stick to the fabric during the transfer process. Heat transfer: Now it’s time to transfer the design onto the fabric. Place the film with the design facing down onto the fabric, and apply heat and pressure using a heat press. This will cause the adhesive powder to melt and bond the design to the fabric. Remove excess powder: After the transfer process, you’ll need to remove any excess adhesive powder from the fabric using a brush or air compressor. Finish and cure the print: Finally, you’ll want to cure the print to ensure it’s durable and long-lasting. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for curing the print, which typically involves using a heat press or conveyor dryer. By following these steps, you can create high-quality prints on a variety of fabrics using a DTF printer in the garment industry.    ANKUR GUPTASHORI CHEMICALS PVT LTDwww.shorichemicals.com/dtf
